On 11/22/25 at 18:00 hrs, Engine 105 and Brush 10 responded to the intersection of Main Street and Lankford Highway for a reported two-vehicle motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, Deputy Chief 10 (R. Green) established Lankford Highway Command and began scene assessment.
Crews conducted a thorough investigation and confirmed that no injuries were reported by any occupants involved. Engine 8-5 arrived shortly afterward and assisted Engine 105 and Brush 10 personnel with establishing and maintaining traffic control to ensure the safety of first responders and the motoring public.
Units remained on scene while the Virginia State Police completed their investigation. Once the vehicles were safely removed from the roadway, command was terminated and all units returned to service.
