I joined the fire department because it’s in my blood. As a fourth-generation firefighter, I grew up surrounded by the stories, values, and sacrifices that come with this calling. For me, it’s more than a uniform or a title — it’s about carrying on a family legacy of service, courage, and commitment to others. Every call reminds me that I’m part of something bigger than myself and that I’m continuing a tradition that began long before me.
