Frontline

Full Member

Operational Fire & EMS

Our Full Members are the backbone of operations. They respond to fire, EMS, and rescue emergencies, attend regular training sessions, and actively participate in departmental duties.

Respond to emergency calls for fire, EMS, and rescue.
Commit to ongoing training and skills development.
Ideal for individuals ready to embrace the full challenge and reward of emergency service.

Youth

Junior Member

Future Firefighters & EMTs

The Junior Member program introduces young adults (typically ages 15'17) to the fire and rescue service in a safe, structured environment.

Train alongside experienced personnel and mentors.
Assist in non-emergency functions and station support.
Develop discipline, teamwork, and leadership early.

Support

Support Member

Behind-the-Scenes Heroes

Support Members keep the organization running strong. They handle essential tasks that make emergency response possible and effective.

Assist with administration, fundraising, logistics, and community outreach.
Help at the station and during community events.
May assist on calls as needed and appropriate.

Complete the application, background check, and physical/medical screening.
Participate in required training and regular drills.
Follow departmental policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Be available to respond or support as you are able, understanding that life, work, and family come first.

Reach Out

Visit us at the station or contact us through the membership email listed on our website. We'd love to answer your questions and show you around.

Apply

Fill out a membership application online or at the station. Let us know if you're interested in Full, Junior, or Support membership.

Screening & Training

Complete your background check, OEMS fingerprinting (as applicable), and initial orientation. We'll walk with you through each requirement.

Probationary Period

All new members begin a 60 day probation period. During this time you'll train, learn, and shadow active members to build confidence and skills.

Become Official

Upon successful completion, you'll be inducted as a Full, Junior, or Support Member and officially part of the MVFRC family.
