Today, crews from across Accomack County responded to a **fully involved residential structure fire** on Savageville Road after callers reported flames coming from the windows of a home.

On 11/27/25 @10:06am, Melfa Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co. responded to a serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Dogwood Road and Redwood Road. Initial reports indicated a possible ejection. Upon arrival, crews located a two-vehicle accident involving a four-door SUV in the roadway and a four-door sedan that had come to rest in the yard of a nearby residence. On 11/26/25 @22:56, Engine 105 responded to Gaskins Road for a reported motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Upon arrival, crews found a single vehicle off the roadway and resting in a ditch. All occupants had already exited the vehicle and were safely accounted for. Lieutenant M. On 11/22/25 at 18:00 hrs, Engine 105 and Brush 10 responded to the intersection of Main Street and Lankford Highway for a reported two-vehicle motor vehicle accident. Engine 105 and Brush 10 responded promptly and arrived to find a single vehicle overturned, with the vehicle resting partially in a roadside ditch and partially in the northbound travel lane.
